Preparing to escape from the Matrix: obstacles to overcomeA few months ago, I published the following article on our website:
Engineered countercultural movements, social turmoil, and civil warsCurrently, civil unrest has emerged in the USA and in many other countries, punctuated by episodes of deadly violence. Yet many still remain asleep, and much of the violence and malicious rhetoric is fueled by confrontations between the awakened portion of the population and those who remain easily manipulated by mainstream media (MSM) propaganda.
Surprisingly, in many of these violent outbreaks, the perpetrators are not long-suffering victims who are fully aware of the nature of this silent war, who wisely choose to fight oppression with facts, logic, reason, and informed political action. Instead, in many cases violent factions have little idea why they are protesting; when questioned about their motives and goals, they may revert to bellowing slogans or fits of screaming, as hundreds of Youtube videos have documented.
Examination of the organization and funding behind many of these factions reveal a web of control that leads back to elitist, globalist, Deep-State institutions: George Soros and his many international foundations and NGOs, London's secretive Tavistock Institute, Club of Rome, Council on Foreign Relations, Atlantic Council, Operation Gladio, to name only a few of the more notorious. Their hidden motives include population divide-and-rule strategies and intent to discredit otherwise peaceful protest movements; such Deep-State operations have been ongoing worldwide since the early 20th century, and have since escalated in scope and frequency following World War II.
Socialism and fascism — the dream vs. the historical realityWithin the USA, the MSM portrays this situation as a just another conflict between left and right, Democrats vs. Republicans. In reality, it is more accurately described as a worldwide conflict of nationalists vs. globalists, the awakened vs. the hypnotized sheep, freedom-fighters vs. proponents of the ever-expanding nanny state, who welcome government and corporate control of every aspect of their lives. To those who still trustingly welcome the omnipotent nanny state, ponder the following documented first-hand account of a woman who recalls her childhood during the Nazi Anschluss of 1938 in Austria, which began quite benignly with lofty promises and dreams of a glorious socialist paradise, but which then morphed into ever-increasing, tyrannical control of every aspect of business, social, and family life over a period of 5 years:

Many naive American leftists attempt to vilify anyone disagreeing with their demands as a "fascist". When asked to define that term, most have no idea of its original meaning as a term of political science. Fascism: a governmental system with strong centralized power, permitting no opposition or criticism, controlling all affairs of the nation (industrial, commercial, etc.), emphasizing an aggressive nationalism. — The American College Dictionary, 1967 Is fascism on the "left" or "right" of the political spectrum? Again, D'Souza demolishes the popular misconception that it is a right-wing ideology. The first fascist dictator, Mussolini, established the Italian Marxist movement during the early years of the 20th century, whereupon Vladimir Lenin congratulated "fellow socialist revolutionary" Mussolini for his efforts. Hitler later modeled the German Nazi Party on the Italian fascist template. Western leaders at that time understood that fascism was a leftist ideology that combined socialist economic principles with nationalist political goals, and they consistently referred to it as a leftist ideology in their speeches and publications.
Echoing many of the points made by Dinesh D'Souza, the following article concisely summarizes the 20th-century history of fascism, leaving no doubt that fascism is a form socialism; this fact was openly acknowledged by all its leaders.
For sheer murderousness, the German National Socialists are by no means an exceptional case. Read on. I devote several additional sections of this article to various authors who discuss the Soviet (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics) and Communist Chinese (the People's Republic of China) governments, which together had murdered over 100 million of their own people, far exceeding even the largest estimates of Nazi atrocities during World War II. It is astounding to me that many young people in America do not know these facts, as they are no longer taught at public schools. By the time I had completed my university education in 1980, I had taken multiple history courses throughout high school and college that had covered various aspects of this subject. How is the "mind-body-spirit" mantra of the New Age holding up to political reality?Having studied and practiced as an herbalist for over 30 years, some of those years in hyper-liberal urban enclaves like the San Francisco Bay Area, Silicon Valley, and the Denver-Boulder metro area of Colorado, I've long been aware of an irksome hypocrisy within the alternative health and New Age communities. The vast majority of schools of alternative health are located in strongly leftist, urban enclaves. Almost all these schools claim to simultaneously espouse the holistic mantra of mind-body-spirit as well as the hyper-leftist, globalist, nation-busting political views typical of their environs or, at a minimum, refuse to discuss any political philosophies that "stray off the plantation". So, I ask, what happens when graduates of such schools are faced with conservative/libertarian-minded clients who present with health and life issues directly involving the dreaded specter of politics? Consider the following common scenarios occurring now all over America, similar to the vitriolic rhetoric, rioting, and extreme political polarization preceding the first American Civil War:
That such "holistic" practitioners can claim to respect mind-body-spirit philosophy while refusing to address concerns that are now affecting the daily lives and well-being of us all is astounding and intolerable. It is the most blatant hypocrisy. Many conservatives and libertarians, like myself, refuse to remain silent. We have been pushed beyond our line in the sand, we have regained our voices, and we will no longer back down from confrontation. In traditional Chinese philosophy, chaos vs. order is a fundamental aspect of the Yin-Yang polarity governing the cosmos. When individual humans, societies, or nations tend toward either extreme of chaos vs. order, they become imbalanced. Healthy self-awareness leads to perception of such imbalances, allowing the affected individuals and groups to contemplate, acknowledge, discuss, analyze, strategize, experiment, and eventually to resolve these imbalances. If open and honest human communication is thwarted, however, such imbalances can lead to tragedy: the ill health and death of individuals, the disintegration of families, communities, and nations, and, in extreme cases, world wars and planetary destruction. Habitually lying to ourselves and to others and allowing others to lie to us without challenge or rebuttal have dire consequences. The greater the lies, the more extreme the consequences. If such lies are carefully woven into a systematic whole that encompasses dysfunctional economics, distorted ethics and political science, falsified history, religious dogma, and pseudo-science by means of propaganda, political correctness, and censorship, an artificial matrix reality — a Malevolent Control Matrix (MCM) — can be created that has power to hypnotize entire populations, who willingly submit to the dictates of their psychopathic MCM-controllers. When healthy, functioning societies identify psychopathic behavior within their midst, the perpetrators are shunned, prosecuted legally, isolated, and/or confined to some sphere of action in which their distorted talents might be harnessed toward some positive goal. However, in a society that has fallen under the spell of the MCM, hypnotized humans go about their daily lives literally not seeing what appears daily before their very eyes. Such people may not merely pretend to be blind; many truly believe that the MCM is their only reality. Psychopathic behavior, especially when perpetrated by "experts" and authority figures, is assumed to be normal and is rarely questioned. Those rare individuals who publicly call out such psychopathic behavior are labelled "conspiracy theorists", "radicals", or "extremists". The men behind the curtain who control the Matrix are terrified of exposure by conspiracy researchers, for these Matrix-men have perpetrated the most gargantuan conspiracy in human history. The subject material of these latest articles has been one of most difficult and emotionally challenging of anything I have ever written, perhaps because it probes into dungeons of the human psyche that inevitably induce discomfort, denial, rage, incredulity, and even insanity in some listeners. Confronting our individual and collective Shadows — psycho-historical perspectivesJordan Peterson and Carl Gustav Jung — the ShadowFor many decades, I have been disturbed by the mismatch between mind-body-spirit philosophy and the absence of practical application of this philosophy within many alternative health and New Age communities — hypocrisy. Why does this mismatch persist, and what can we do about it? In the following video lecture, Jordan Peterson answers a related question that I believe offers the key:
Peterson explains why enlightenment can be a terrifying process, requiring each of us to recognize within ourselves the potential for evil. He defines evil as the conscious, intentional infliction of suffering on others, far beyond the suffering that results from our own limitations and the ordinary constraints and misfortunes of living in the world. To reach enlightenment requires each of us to acknowledge the nature of our own Shadow, an idea that was popularized by psychoanalyst Carl Gustav Jung, but which can be traced back to many ancient spiritual traditions. The terrifying aspects of one's Shadow lead many to shun this confrontation and to settle for enlightenment substitutes. One tell-tale sign of individuals who have settled for substitutes (e.g., comforting mantras, feel-goodisms, and hucksters of the prosperity gospel) is the tendency to reject consideration of any "negative" thoughts and ideas, for such might lead to vexatious glimpses of this Shadow. Before we delve further into such seemingly esoteric issues, the following summary of Jung's work by free-market libertarian Brandon Smith explains why we should all care about the Shadow, the nature of evil, and sociopathy/psychopathy and how these destructive influences have infiltrated many globalist institutions and political movements:
That the preceding article was written by a secularist author who ordinarily focuses on economic systems and free-market issues only lends it more credibility. All too many of us have been programmed by the MSM and by our culture to reflexively dismiss such ideas as the ravings of religious fanatics, in spite of the numerous credible reports of Satanic/Luciferian groups who actively and systematically perpetrate ritualistic abuses on human victims, which are considered heinous crimes in all civilized nations. According to Jung and Peterson, if one is entirely unaware of one's Shadow, it tends to conjure up a series of misadventures and tragedies in one's life. To such unaware, unawakened individuals, these events may seem beyond one's control and entirely the fault of external agents and actors — in extreme cases, appearing as if demons have been summoned from the pits of hell. Such individuals will instinctively blame everyone but themselves for their problems. The modern leftist phenomenon of group identity politics plays right into this mindset by encouraging various oppressed groups (defined by gender, race and skin color, ethnicity, and economic class) to glorify their own victimhood. Instead of striving for self-empowerment, identity-politics players become embroiled in endless squabbles over which groups have more privilege, who are the more oppressed and victimized, and who should be blamed as the victimizers. Group identity politics leads to endless conflict and is ultimately enervating and exhausting, because, according to Peterson, only individuals can exercise rights and responsibilities. To compel individuals to seek their rights and privileges by means of some arbitrarily defined group identity — there are innumerable ways that we can subdivide ourselves into groups, subgroups, tribes, etc. — is to strip those individuals of their personal power and their natural rights as autonomous beings possessing free will. It was for this very reason that European civilization, from the Renaissance through the Enlightenment, increasingly acknowledged that human rights ultimately derive from the relationship between each self-actualized, self-responsible man/woman and the Universal-Source-Creator. Powers of government and all other human institutions derive only from the natural law that is necessarily implied by such relationships and from the mutual informed, knowing, voluntary, and willful consent of such individuals. If we seek out the intellectual and philosophical roots of identity politics, we will find ourselves going back in time to the late 1960's, when news reports, documentaries, and newly authored history texts chronicled the industrial-scale murderousness of the Soviet-Marxist government. Marxist academics and theoreticians realized they had a serious problem of public perception. Feeble attempts were made to excuse the past as a product of imperfect implementation of an essentially sound political doctrine. However, Jordan Peterson and Stephen Blackwood (see video interview, below) systematically demolish this argument by pointing out the numerous 20th-century instances of where Marxism had been tried and failed, with equally bloody consequences, most notoriously in Communist China where an estimated 100 million were murdered by their own government. Modern Marxist academics proceeded to repackage Marxist doctrine as "post-modernism" and "identity politics" by the magician's trick of misdirection, slyly side-stepping the essential failure of Marxism as a tool for ushering in the utopian state. Instead of the old-fashioned economic class warfare of Karl Marx, modern Marxists discarded the rhetoric of classic Marxism and substituted it with an entirely new lexicon based on the post-modernist politics of oppressed victim groups, as defined primarily by gender, race, and ethnicity.
Alexander Solzhenitsyn: The Soviet era and a warning to the WestAnother widely revered prognosticator of western civilization, Alexander Solzhenitsyn, in a powerful speech delivered at a Harvard University graduation of 1978, scolded the West for its obsession with self-indulgent materialism at the expense of its soul, a warning and prophecy that, 40 years later, seems to have largely fallen on deaf ears. The superficial spirituality of the occidental New Age, with its comforting mantras and feel-goodisms, is no match for the existential crisis that now confronts the West. We are terrified of our own Shadow, and our politicians are only too eager to oblige our fears by projecting it onto foreign bogeymen.
At the time of Solzhenitsyn's 1978 Harvard lecture, he had been a Soviet expatriate living in the U.S. for 3 years. He chose to return to his homeland of Russia after the Soviet Union collapsed in 1990. Modern Russia, in contrast to the U.S., has undergone a spiritual resurgence remarkable in scope. Since the Soviet collapse, the Russian government has restored thousands of churches, shrines, monasteries, and seminaries to their original condition, as if in rebuke to the atrocities and savage destruction of culture perpetrated during the Soviet era. These policies are widely supported by the Russian people, many of whom covertly held to their religious and spiritual traditions during the 7 decades of Soviet repression. Igor Shafarevich: a comprehensive world history of socialismIn his lecture, Solzhenitsyn references the meticulous, scholarly history of socialism by Igor Shafarevich, which is a historical exposé of the failings of socialism over the entire span of recorded human history, from ancient Mesopotamia to the 20th century. Shafarevich was an internationally renowned mathematician and opponent of the Soviet regime, and his political writings circulated for many years via the samizdat networks that had been established to help publicize suppressed Soviet authors. Shafarevich argues that a basic principle of socialism throughout human history has been the urge to suppress individuality, and that it is essentially nihilistic, unconsciously motivated by a death instinct and a visceral hatred of the power of individual creativity and autonomy to succeed where collectivism has failed. In this respect, Shafarevich's views coincide with those of Jordan Peterson. David Wilcock: practical advice for facing one's Shadow, bad psychedelic tripsDavid Wilcock is a popular American author on metaphysical topics, and he has a knack for giving practical insights in plain language. In the following video discussion, he and his hosts explore the similarities of exploring one's Shadow, dealing with psychedelic "bad trips", and the terror and emotional turmoil that many people are now experiencing in facing up to current world events and industrial-scale, institutionalized evil. Wilcock's views on the Shadow and on Jungian psychology dovetail with those of Jordan Peterson, but many readers may find Wilcock's style more easy-going and congenial.
The false choice of socialism vs. corrupt crony capitalismOur present American dilemma is that our economic and financial system is so fraught with corruption and has deviated so far from the classical liberal ideal of free markets that many choose socialism out of frustration and desperation; people on all sides of the political spectrum acknowledge that the current system is failing many. Homelessness, drug abuse and addiction, and social breakdown are relentlessly worsening and by all sane measures of economic wellbeing, we seem to be on a trajectory toward disaster. We are being forced to choose between the two tyrannical polarities of corrupt crony capitalism and socialism, both choices representing top-down control by a self-appointed elite hierarchy; neither offers much hope when objectively analyzed. If rational debate regarding potential solutions becomes impossible, is there any way out of our dilemma? The three articles listed below explore the key characteristics of crony capitalism. The first explains why socialism, with its top-down control of the economy by technocrats, shares many of the same defects as crony capitalism, just gussied up in different rhetorical garb. Both systems inevitably fall into the hands of ambitious sociopaths, who are attracted toward power like flies to a dung hill; subsequently, the levers of government become accessible only to their cronies, who had abetted their ascent of the power hierarchy. The third article in the series addresses what many consider to be the primary fatal flaw of both crony capitalism and of almost every single socialist government on the planet currently: private central banks, which have the power to generate new money out of nothing and "loan" it out to governments, favored banks, and financial institutions at interest. In such an economy, those parasites closest to nation's source of financial blood flowing from the central bank get rich at the expense of the 99.9%.
However, in recent years, and in spite of the social turmoil we are all witnessing, I also see signs that our current crisis has triggered a rapid awakening of a critical mass of people within America and many other nations. We have more than the two false choices presented to us by the MSM media and by the elite Eastern Establishment that have controlled American politics for at least the previous century.
