Versatile display of data in table form allows you to view a large amount of information at once, for quick and easy comparison of multiple records.

The Herb Table allows you to visually organize and display any or all of the following Herb data fields:

  • Pharmaceutical name
  • Mandarin name
  • Chinese characters
  • Common name
  • Botanical family
  • Botanical name
  • Primary category
  • Secondary category
  • All categories
  • Thermal property
  • Taste
  • Guna
  • Organs/Meridians
  • Organs/Meridians (array)
  • Functions
  • Indicated Syndromes
  • Cautions
  • Dosage
  • Toxicity
  • Preparation
  • Clinical notes
  • Purchasing info.
  • Priority
  • Search result
  • Matching text
  • Quiz set
  • Checked set

Using simple and easy-to-understand commands, you can:

  • Rearrange (by dragging the column headings) the order of fields (columns).

     
  • Hide or add fields to be displayed (see "Display..." button).

     
  • Sort the Herbs according to specific criteria.

     
  • Search for Herbs with specific sets of properties using multiple criteria, as well as complex Boolean searches.

     
  • Find specific Herbs by pharmaceutical or Mandarin name.

     
  • Use the Show Herb button to read the complete text-based information about an Herb.

     
  • Specify subsets of the Herbs (using the Check Mark field), for example, to compile a list of Herbs for possible inclusion in a client's formula.
