20050226: Locating Progress Files on your computer

Locating your TCM Herbal Tutor Progress File on your computer.

If you have forgotten the name of your progress file and where you put it 
these instructions will help you locate it.

Start TCM Herbal Tutor the way you normally do.  To determine the file name 
that you are using, show the Syndrome table.  At the top of the window it 
should say "Syndrome Table - " followed by the name of your progress file.

Now you know the name of your file, but you may have forgotten where you 
placed it.  To find out where it is, select the Open Command in the File 
menu.  A File Selection Window will appear.  It will display the files in 
the directory where your currently open progress file is located.  You 
should see the file listed somewhere in this directory.  Near the top of 
the window it says "Look in:" followed by a selection box for selecting the 
directory.  By examining this selection box and the directory hierarchy, 
you should be able to determine where your file is.  If the directory 
structure is complicated, you may need to write it down.

When you have obtained the information about where the file is located, 
cancel the file selection box. You should now be able to find your file by 
opening the appropriate directories in whatever way you normally navigate 
your file system.
