20030610a: Protecting your Progress File

If you are a candidate for Level-1 certification, or intend to be at some future time, you will need to eventually send in (by email attachment) the progress file generated by the TCM Herbal Tutor software. This progress file keeps track of your performance from session to session. To avoid losing all records of your progress, please make regular backup copies of this file, so that if your computer hard drive is ever damaged or disrupted, you will be able to resume study where you last left off after reinstalling the software.

We recommend that you name your progress file "[yourName]-MAIN". For example:
 
   JohnDoe-MAIN
 
In general, this is the progress file you should use most of the time, and will eventually submit for Level-1 certification.
